We have the pleasure to invite you again to submit articles for our online double-blind peer-reviewed journal, HyperCultura (E-ISSN 2559-2025),, (indexed CEEOL, MLA Directory of Periodicals, Ulrichsweb) for issue no 8/2019. Starting with the current issue now online, issue 7/2018, we have become an annual publication instead of biannual, and we have changed our focus/approach. That is, we do not have a specific theme for each volume anymore, but we encourage, though not imposing, a comparative approach on the following areas: literature (print and hypertext), (not classic literature), media studies (radio, television), film studies, visual and performative arts, teaching (language, literature, rhetoric). Subjects such as Postcolonialism, Gender Studies, etc, are welcome if they have the above mentioned areas as their case studies.

We only receive original articles, not already published, not under simultaneous review at any other publication.

We also receive a limited number of book reviews, of titles published no earlier than three years prior to the year of the publication of this volume.

Both the articles and the book reviews must be in English (USA). Articles must be analytic, they must be between 3500-8000 words, and follow the MLA 8th Edition. Book reviews must be ~1500 words. Abstracts must be 150-200 words.

Papers will be first scanned for plagiarism, then sent to double-blind peer-review. We hope to give you an acceptance/rejection answer in a maximum of 3 months since the day we receive your article.

Submission deadline: October 1st, 2019.
The journal will be due March-April 2020.
