CALL FOR PAPERS -- The Northeast Popular/American Culture Association (NEPCA) is seeking paper proposals on the topic of sports for its fall conference to be held at Worcester State University, Worcester, MA., Friday-Saturday Oct. 19-20. Please submit your paper proposal online to Dennis Gildea, sport area chair, at dgildea@springfieldcollege.edu.

Or you may go to https://nepca.blog/2018-conference/ and you will find all the necessary information for the fall conference. Click on the 2018 paper proposals link, which will take you to a Google form. You should alert Dennis Gildea at the above address that you have put forth a proposal. You can also contact Dennis Gildea for advice on shaping your proposal and (ultimately) your presentation.

NEPCA presentations are generally 15-20 minutes in length and may be delivered formally or informally. NEPCA prides itself on holding conferences that emphasize sharing ideas in a non-competitive and supportive environment consisting of graduate students, independent scholars, junior faculty, and senior scholars.
