EDUCATION HISTORY ARTICLES in CURRENT PERIODICALS (#252)

Below is a list of recent** publications relating to the History of Education. As always, we focus on studies relating to the History of Education (“the history of instruction”) rather than History Education (“the instruction of History”). The list is not exhaustive, and H-Education subscribers are encouraged to contact editorial-education@mail.h-net.org with works to include. **Note: Several journals, notably Paedagogica Historica, have adopted a rolling electronic publication model in which individual articles are published online months (or even years) before the issue itself is officially published. As an example, the recent V57 I5 (2021) issue of Paedagogica Historica contains articles that were published online in Oct. 2019, and were already been reported in previous H-Education bibliographies. These rolling publication practices create some vexing bibliographic issues while compling these lists, so moving forward I will only include articles & reviews when they first become available online, and will not post them a second time when their home issue is official published.
