Now recruiting: “MA Second World War Studies: Conflict, Societies, Holocaust”.

Join us in October.

You will be taught by prize winning experts in the field, including:

Professor John Buckley (Templer Medal, Society for Army Historical Research, 2014).

Professor Dieter Steinert (Yad Vashem International Book Prize for Holocaust Research 2020).

You will study in depth some of the key issues in the military, political, and social history of the Second World War. Our modules:

- Axis and Allies

- The Ostfront and German Occupation Policy in Eastern Europe

- Societies and Total War

- The Asia-Pacific War

- The Holocaust

- The Victory Campaign

Part time: 28 months (including writing up time for your dissertation). 6 modules.

Assessments: One essay per module + dissertation at the end.

Teaching: Saturday schools only; once a month from October till June. The programme will be delivered in a hybrid way. Face-to-face teaching will take place at Wolverhampton city campus, while students have also the option to study from home. For the latter, the lectures will be delivered on-line, and there will be separate online seminars on a workday evening.
