The William P. Clements Department of History at Southern Methodist University, building on its established strength in Southwest and Borderlands History, is pleased to announce new graduate student and doctoral fellowships in the history of the presidency, American politics and foreign policy.

 

SMU’s Center for Presidential History, under the leadership of Professors Jeffrey A. Engel and Thomas J. Knock, will host these graduate students, who will enjoy up to five years of highly competitive funding and research fellowships, and the opportunity to work in our on-campus Presidential Library, and within driving distance of three others.
