Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the publication of the next available Haitian Creole translations of the ongoing digital history project Colony in Crisis: The Saint-Domingue Grain Shortage of 1789. There will be more to follow so stay tuned!

This update includes two translations by Daphney Vastey of Montclair State University: "Repons Depite Pwodiksyon ak Komès Lafrans yo Bay Kosènan: Mosyon MM. de Cocherel & de Reynaud, de Depite nan Zile Sendomeng, a Asanble Nasyonal la" and "Repons Kout Depite Sendomeng yo Konènan Lèt Komèsan Waf yo, Repons sa te Distribiye nan Biwo Asanble Nasyonal la, nan 9 Oktob 1789."
