Warwick University Midlands4Cities (M4C) Masters Bursary
As part of our commitment to supporting routes in to a PhD, the Centre for Arts Doctoral Excellence at Warwick is excited to announce a new M4C Masters Bursary.
These are for students who will study a Masters course at Warwick, and who intend to subsequently apply for an M4C-funded PhD at the University. [Midlands4Cities is the UK government's Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC)-funded Doctoral Training Partnership that Warwick belongs to.]
For the 2023-2024 academic year, up to 5 bursaries will be available, worth £10,000 per student (UK-based or international). The bursaries covers the period October 2023-September 2024 (full-time) or October 2023-September 2025 (part-time).

Eligibility
- offer holder for a Masters course in the Arts Faculty or an Arts-adjacent discipline*, due to start in October 2023
- home or international student
- full-time or part-time student
Warwick's Arts Faculty includes: Centre for the Study of the Renaissance; Classics and Ancient History; English and Comparative Literary Studies; History; School for Cross-Faculty Studies; School of Creative Arts, Performance and Visual Cultures; School of Modern Languages and Cultures. For the purpose of this bursary, it also covers the following "Arts-adjacent" disciplines: Applied Linguistics; Centre for Interdisciplinary Methodologies; Politics and International Studies, Philosophy, Sociology.
