Missing Tiffany window?

Gail Bardhan's picture

I am seeking information on the current location of a Tiffany window, Angels of Peace and Mercy, formerly in the Hornellsville Universalist Church (in New York State)

The window was installed shortly after 1905, to commemorate a sleigh/train accident which involved 8 church members, and measured approximately 8’ x 7 ½ ‘.  In October or November 1987, it was sold by a small auction house in the southern tier of New York.  The auction house, although still in existence, has no record of who purchased the window.

Our library is fortunate to have slides of the window, but we have no more information, and a local historian is pursuing the topic.
