CfP "Assembling the Post-Liberal Order in Central and Eastern Europe (1929-1956)" - Extended Deadline

Dear colleagues,

You are kindly invited to take part in the workshop "Assembling the Post-Liberal Order in Central and Eastern Europe:  Labour, Welfare Institutions and the Governing of Economic Life during and after the Great Depression (1929-1956)". The meeting will take place on the 26-27 June 2015 in Budapes, having as keynote speaker Prof. Katherine Lebow.  The deadline for submitting your abstracts has been extended to the 30th of April 2015.

PhD program in Historical Sociology in English at Charles University in Prague

I am one of the lectures at the Dep. of Historical Sociology at Charles University and would like to draw your attention to our English taught two years long MA program in Historical Sociology that has been running since 2012. The previous school year we have also started an English taught PhD program and have established an English taught and instructed group of PhD students. The Ph.D. program is now open to new applications (app. deadline is 30th April).
