Support for H-Net’s 25 Anniversary fundraising drive
Dear H-Diplo readers,
The #HNet25 Crossroads is the home base for H-Net's 25th anniversary celebration. H-Net is celebrating 25 years of service by recalling topical discussions, teaching and research resources, and milestones in H-Net's journey from a few email listservs to an online academic commons. Revisit the history of H-Net discussions from our 180+ networks and discover teaching and research resources in the Mining the Logs project. Under Networks Celebrate, mark the date with individual networks recalling their histories and looking forward to the future of the H-Net Commons. Help H-Net continue to flourish by donating. Thank you for being a part of the H-Net community. Happy birthday, H-Net!

Dear H-Diplo readers,
Writing at the dawn of H-AMSTDY, in July 1993, founder Jeff Finlay pointed out “Once you yourself stop thinking of who you are and where you're coming from, you'll slip into belonging as a member of a true scholarly community. You'll learn that the computer mediated conversation we're having can help you discover your own voice, and transform you from being a passive consumer of knowledge to an active producer of
Thanks to H-Net over the past two years, I have connected with editors for three book chapters, learned about numerous conference and grant opportunities, and discovered the NEH summer institute. H-Net is a must have for any researcher. Thanks for your work! Very useful and reliable, I really appreciate. Thank you to H-Net too! Merci beaucoup! |
Love what you do. H-DC is a mainstay in the nation's capital.
Please keep doing what you are doing. If I can help by reviewing books in my fields of history, let me know.
Thanks for all you do! A very necessary resource for the history community.
Good wishes in these hard times. Invaluable! Thank you! This donation is on behalf of the Canadian Studies Network. H-Net is very helpful to us - thank you! |
This is a great service to our profession and needs to be supported by everyone; it is so accessible and helpful in keeping current. It is hard to imagine how we functioned in the old days.
Happy to return at least a token gesture of appreciation for the great service of H-Asia Network.
Thanks for the excellent work you do!
Superb work and an invaluable service. Thank you.
Thanks a lot, Peter, Editors, Programmers for all your help and services over many years.
Thank you for all of your work; we'd all be lost without it.
Keep Up The Great Work!!
Thank you for the wonderful work.
I have found H-Nahuatl indispensable in my research on the Voynich Manuscript.
Invaluable!
Good wishes in these hard times.
H-Net is a fantastic resource for the scholarly community. It is so dynamic! Love it!
Thank you for all the networking advice that you have provided over my academic career since 1999!
I am pleased to be able to contribute to this valuable enterprise. H-Net aided me in my career development over twenty years. Now it is time to share the benefits with future scholars.
Thank you for H-JUDAIC.
Thanks for all of your work! Congratulations on 25 years!
I've been a member since nearly the beginning, and found it most useful in, for example, writing about urban heritage, and for an oral history project interviewing Australian historians (now at NLA), as well as contributing news and info myself.
You do a wonderful job. Thank you.
H-Net is great. I find nearly all my conferences there, jobs ads have brought my dept great new profs, and book reviews are a definite plus! I use H-Net and have recommended H-Net to all my graduate students. Thanks for connecting everyone. I was inspired to donate this morning by the work of the amazing copyeditors. |

The information on Slavic studies you provide is most valuable. Glad to make a small contribution to support your work. A mighty small token of appreciation for the help that I have received through decades. A GREAT contribution to the social sciences!!!! I support H-Net financially because it supports me intellectually. |

I have now retired. I rely on H-NET to keep me in contact with the goings-on of several Asia communities, especially Japan. I have found tremendous stuff on H-Asia and depend on it as an independent scholar. Having been one of the original network founders (H-ASIA) in 1994 I have a real sense of how much H-NET has contributed to my career and would like to return some of that support. |
Thank YOU!
Keep up the good work. Y'all are my link, as a retiree, to my past world of academia and scholarship. Thanks for being there.
H-Net is a profoundly important service and worthy of support.
I wouldn't have my position in academia without H-Net.

I'm happy to rejoin the network. I am an adjunct instructor at a community college involved in collective bargaining for adjuncts and know there is a new discussion group for us. Thanks! In support of H-Luso. Thanks so much Katleen Sheldon for the excellent work that keeps those of us interested in and researching and writing on Portuguese speaking Africa and Brazil informed about the great research and publications of our colleagues. Thank you to all of the volunteer editors! |
Keep up the good work. You are an invaluable resource for local historians. Very important website for historians living in PRC. H-Buddhism performs a great service. Many thanks everybody! Keep up the good work! |
