ANN: Serendipity's Windrush Day Lecture to take place on June 22, 2020 6:00-8:00pm with Dr. Stephen Small

Dear Members, 

I just want to alert you to an upcoming event hosted by the UK-based organization Serendipity. It will host its Windrush Day Lecture with Dr. Stephen Small (UC-Berkeley) from 6-8pm on June 22, 2020. In addition to Dr. Small's keynote, there will also be a film screening of a short documentary film, A Very Brit(ish) Voice. The event is now online due to COVID19. This is an important event in light of how the Windrush generation as well as other Black communities are still mistreated in Britain.
