The H-Portugal team of editors is based at CHAM – Centre for the Humanities, Universidade NOVA de Lisboa / Universidade dos Açores.

 

Alice Santiago Faria

Architect. PhD in Art History. Researcher. Works Public Works in the Portuguese empire during the long 19th century with approaches between the history of architecture and the history of science and technology, interested in using digital methods of researching in the humanities. 

 

 
 

 

 

Carla Alferes Pinto

Art Historian, researcher. She is currently developing the project ‘VESTE _ Dress the Court: Costume, Gender, and Identity(ies)’ (FCT – DL 57/2016/CP1453/CT0069). The focus of her work is the history and cultures of fashion in the Early Modern Period.

 



 

 

Carla Vieira

Early Modern Historian, researcher. She is currently developing the post-doctoral project ‘Nation between Empires. Sephardic Diaspora and the Anglo-Portuguese alliance’, sponsored by Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia: SFRH/BPD/109606/2015. Her main research interests are the Western Sephardic diaspora and the history of New Christians and Inquisition in Early Modern Iberia.

 

João Figueroa-Rêgo

Early Modern Historian, researcher. He participates in several international projects and is the author of numerous academic-scientific texts in different countries. In 202 he received the Fundação Eng.º António de Almeida Prize. He is currently Deputy Director of CHAM – Centre for the Humanities and editor of the ‘Anais de História de Além-mar’.

 

Mariana Boscariol

Art Historian, researcher. She is currently developing the project ‘VESTE _ Dress the Court: Costume, Gender, and Identity(ies)’ (FCT – DL 57/2016/CP1453/CT0069). The focus of her work is the history and cultures of fashion in the Early Modern Period.
