In an announcement entitled "US Library of Congress launches AI tool that lets you search 16 million old newspaper pages for historical images"
The Library of Congress unveiled a new retrieval tool that will search more than 1.5 million news photos by using Artificial Intelligence.
Enter a keyword in the Newspaper Navigator and the AI will retrieve any matches. Users can filter their searches by date range and publication state. Once an image has been retrieved, it can be downloaded, copied or mailed. You can also see the entire issue that included the picture and retrieve informaiton about the newspaper.

It's well worth exploring
