H-Net Journals, H-Net's initiative for publishing high quality, open access scholarship, is happy to announce that it published the inaugural volume of the Proceedings of the H-Net Teaching Conference this May. The collection, edited by H-Net’s Past President Seth Offenbach and H-Net’s Vice President of Research and Publications Niels Eichhorn, includes six essays resulting from presentations from the first H-Net Teaching conference, held in August 2022. The papers examine a variety of pedagogical topics, including setting student expectations, teaching difficult topics, and game play.

Our subscribers will certainly find this collection helpful and timely. As you take a look, please consider submitting a paper proposal to our second conference. The CfP is available on the Proceedings website. All proposals are due May 27, 2023.
