Journal of the History of Ideas Blog seeking Contributing Editors

The Journal of the History of Ideas Blog promotes a wide range of scholarship on intellectual history, and we are eager to include scholars on our team of Contributing Editors who can promote work on the intellectual history of Russia and the Soviet Union. Contributing Editors either write their own or commission a short piece every 4-6 weeks.

Seeking panel participants for “Politicization of the Holocaust in the 21st Century in Eastern Europe” for 50th AJS Conference, Boston, MA, December 16-18, 2018

I would like to create a panel for the 50th AJS (Association for Jewish Studies) Conference, Boston, MA, December 16-18, 2018 on the “Politicization of the Holocaust in the 21st Century in Eastern Europe” (this is one of the proposed by the AJS themes for the conference). I would like to present my paper about the commemoration and memorialization of the Babi Yar tragedy and politicization of the Holocaust in Modern Ukraine.

For over forty years, the Summer Research Laboratory at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has provided scholars from around the world with the opportunity to work in our Library's famous collections in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies.

 

We are pleased to announce that we will be holding the Summer Research Laboratory again this year, from June 11 to August 3, 2018.
