The History Discipline at the University of Melbourne is  hosting the Kathleen Fitzpatrick Lecture on the 4th of April, presented by Lynn Abrams, Professor of Modern History and Head of the School of Humanities at the University of Glasgow.

The lecture will be followed by a reception and the announcement of this year's winner of the prestigious Ernest Scott Prize, awarded annually for the most distinguished contribution to the history of Australia or New Zealand, and supported by the History Program in SHAPS.
