Call for Papers: Transnational Asia special issue dedicated to Professor Nanxiu Qian

The editorial committee of Transnational Asia recently lost its dear friend, Dr. Nanxiu Qian (1947-2022), Professor of Chinese Literature at Rice University. The committee plans to publish a special issue of Transnational Asia commemorating her life and work.

The 2022 annual meeting will be held in person. A submission at this stage assumes a commitment to attending an in-person conference.

The CRS is delighted to issue a call for papers for the annual conference which will take place at Hinsley Hall, Leeds UK from Monday 24th July to Wednesday 26th July 2023. A Zoom livestream of the conference will be made available but speakers are expected to attend in person unless otherwise agreed with the Conference Director.
