On April 5, 2016, H-Net Council voted to de-commission H-W-Civ. The network has been largely unused. Rather than attempt to revive an unused network, we suggest H-W-Civ’s 257 subscribers join our much larger and active networks in related fields. This might include H-World, H-Empire, H-Amstdy, H-LatAmH-French-Colonial, H-Black-Europe, H-Afro-AmH-Atlantic, H-HRE, H-German, Habsburg and many more of our 180+ networks.

Feel free to contact me with any questions about this decommissioning.

All the best,

Patrick Cox

H-Net Vice-President for Networks
