I've had trouble with the online system and DjVU reader as well. In the past, I've used Google Chrome with a generic DjVU reader extension and it worked quite well, although, sometimes it loads very slowly. As of late, it has only worked about half the time.
Does anyone have suggestions for accessing the online Ottoman Periodicals database (the "Hakkı Tarık Us" collection; DjVu plug-in required) hosted by TUFS (Tokyo University School of Foreign Service) and Beyazit State Library? It worked fine with older operating systems such as Windows Vista, but not on Windows 10. I wrote TUFS, who responded that it only opens on Internet Explorer -- an obsolescent browser at best these days -- but it doesn't work on that either, or Firefox, or Edge. The database website is http://www.tu
