Soyuz is formally constituted as the Post-Communist Cultural Studies Interest Group of the American Anthropological Association (AAA) and is also recognized as an official unit of the American Association for the Advancement of Slavic Studies (AAASS).

You are kindly invited to take part in the workshop "Assembling the Post-Liberal Order in Central and Eastern Europe:  Labour, Welfare Institutions and the Governing of Economic Life during and after the Great Depression (1929-1956)". The meeting will take place on the 26-27 June 2015 in Budapest.  The deadline for submitting your abstracts is the 20th of April 2015.
