On July 1, 2015, H-Net Council voted to de-commission H-SOLCHA.  The network has been unused for sometime. Rather than attempt to revive an unused network, H-Net Council suggests interested parties join our much larger and far more active networks that cover the same fields. H-LatAm is an international forum for the scholarly discussion of Latin American history, including environmental history, has over 4000 subscribers, and is affiliated with the Conference on Latin American History. H-LatAm’s collection of syllabi is quite extensive. Additionally, H-Environment networks nearly 4000 scholars in the field of environmental history around the world and is supported by the American Society for Environmental History and the European Society for Environmental History. Both networks have dedicated editors who make good use of H-Net’s online capabilities and both networks actively publish book reviews of new texts in their respective fields.

Thannks for your interest. Questions can be directed to Patrick Cox, H-Net Vice-President for Networks, at vp-net@mail.h-net.msu.edu
