Volunteering at H-Slavery

My name is Steve Peraza and I’m an Assistant Professor of history at SUNY-College at Buffalo. I’ve been a network editor with H-Slavery for two years. In that time, I’ve created a topical guide on slave manumission, compiled a syllabus database, interviewed a scholar with high-impact teaching practices, and analyzed coverage of slavery in the U.S. media. Each of these projects has contributed meaningfully to my development as a researcher, writer, and teacher.
