The SHGAPE Blog is seeking submissions for blog posts to be published in our new series on Sound in the GAPE, which corresponds to an upcoming issue releasing this October in the Journal of the Gilded Age and Progressive Era. We are looking for posts that broadly engage with sound as a topic of inquiry. The goal is to run the series between November-February 2023.
The Blog publishes topics from 1865 into the 1920s and is always welcome to scholars from all walks of life, from both beginning and established scholars, and from anyone inside or outside the academy
