Save the Date: SAH Awards Gala
Founded in 1995, the Society of Historians of Eastern European, Eurasian, and Russian Art and Architecture (SHERA) brings together scholars specializing in the art and architecture of Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, from ancient times to the present day. H-SHERA, the H-Net network, aims to serve as a vibrant source of information and exchange, and welcomes anyone interested in our growing field to create a sense of community for scholars around the world. You can join the Society as a dues-paying member or renew your membership here. However, you do not need to be a dues-paying member of the Society to post to the H-SHERA network; simply log into the H-Net Commons and subscribe to H-SHERA via the "Subscribe to this network" button at the right. Detailed instructions for posting can be found here.
I am seeking your recommendation for a Russian-English translator who could take on the job of translating the titles in this film, which will be included in an upcoming exhibition. I welcome on- and off-list responses.

The SHERA Board is pleased to announce the SHERA-sponsored panel to be held at the meeting of ASEEES in Boston from December 6-10 as well as two runners-up. While ASEEES does not have a mechanism for noting runners-up in the convention's online or printed schedules, we would like to recognize particularly interesting panels as well as alerting the membership to their colleagues' current and ongoing research. Thank you to everyone who took the time to submit a panel.
