We are happy to introduce the Commons Crossroads, a new kind of network for content delivered from all H-Net Networks around a single topic, representing the intersection of scholarship and thinking from across our many fields. Our first multi-network topic: The World Cup!
On February 21, 2017, H-Net Council voted to de-commission H-Risk-and-Safety. The network has been largely unused and ran without editors an extended period of time. Rather than continuing attempts to revive an unused network, we suggest propsective subscribers choose some of H-Net's other larger and more active networks in related fields from among our 180+ networks.
Feel free to contact me with any questions about this decommissioning.
All the best,
H-Net Vice-President for Networks

A few years ago, the editors of H-Risk-and-Safety build a very large Indicative Bibliography of the field. It can be found below. Moving the forward, the editors hope to update and refine this list, crowdsourcing information from H-Risk-and-Safety. They also intend create several smaller bibliographies on areas within the field based on clear categorizations and input from subscribers. The first of these smaller lists is on Childhood and Risk and it appears below.
H-Risk-and-Safety is H-Net's network on Risk, Accidents, Safety and Disasters.
