H-Mideast-Politics, is an academic network where substantive information and analysis can be presented of Middle East current affairs and of its relevance to the foreign policy of states outside the region. The network takes the entire area from Morocco to Malaysia and from Kazakhstan to Somalia as its purview. The emphasis is on contemporary politics.

It would be instructive to conduct a similar examination of the way science is taught in religious as opposed to non-religious Jewish schools in Israel. The most orthodox (Haredi) schools simply ignore modern science and mathematics and devote their entire curriculum to religious studies.
On the other hand the secular State(Mamlachti) school system stresses modern science and mathematics and is a driving force behind Israel's scientific leap forward.
