H-Mideast-Politics, is an academic network where substantive information and analysis can be presented of Middle East current affairs and of its relevance to the foreign policy of states outside the region. The network takes the entire area from Morocco to Malaysia and from Kazakhstan to Somalia as its purview. The emphasis is on contemporary politics.

We have the following books for review on the Middle East and Islam for the Journal of International and Global Studies (www.lindenwood.edu/jigs).
There are three book review formats. A single book review is 1,000 to 1,500 words. A Review Essay of two books is 2,000 to 3,000 words. A Review Essay of three books is 3,500-4,500 words.
MESA Graduate Student Paper Prize
The Middle East Studies Association invites submissions of graduate student research papers on any aspect of post 600 CE Middle East studies for the 2015 Graduate Student Paper Prize. The author of the winning paper will be presented with a certificate and $250 cash award at the Awards Ceremony at MESA's annual meeting. In addition, the paper can be submitted for publication in the Review of Middle East Studies (RoMES).
