#1: Confirming Your Account
Were you subscribed to one of our previous listservs? If so, an account is waiting for you: login to activate that account if you haven't done so already.
- We emailed a login link to your subscribed address when we created the account. Don't have the password or link? Reset the password and then log in at upper right of any Commons page.
- The first time you log in we ask you to accept the Terms of Use and the Creative Commons License.

The Washington Area Early American Seminar, hosted by the University of Maryland, College Park, invites proposals from scholars wishing to present work in progress in the next academic year.
The seminar meets on Fridays three times per semester (Sep 19, Oct 24, Nov 21, Feb 6, Mar 13, Apr 17) and our regular members include faculty and graduate students from a variety of DC-area institutions. Papers are pre-circulated and our afternoon (5-7pm) seminars are followed by a dinner at a local restaurant.
To propose a paper, please send a brief cv and a tentative title along with a 300 word description
