The Ohio River National Freedom Corridor, in partnership with the Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau, will host the inaugural 2015 Regional Underground Railroad Conference at the Eastgate Holiday Inn and Conference Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 16-18, 2015. The Ohio River corridor has a rich legacy of abolitionist and Underground Railroad history--much of which remains untold.

The National History Center has just lost a dear friend and supporter. David Kyvig passed away on Monday, [June 22] the victim of a heart attack.

The Southwest Oral History Association invites you to a one-day workshop on community oral history. The workshop covers all aspects of oral history, beginning with planning a project, developing a budget, interview techniques, and steps after the interview.
Beginners and those interested in learning more about oral history are most welcome.
