CFP: AHA 2020, "Decentering Cold War History: Opposition Networks and Challenges to Superpower Hegemony"

Dear All,

I would like to organize a panel with the working title  “Decentering Cold War History: Opposition Networks and Challenges to Superpower Hegemony” for the 2020 American Historical Association (AHA) Conference in New York City.  I seek fellow presenters who contribute new aspects to those Cold War histories that challenge the centrality of superpower politics from different perspectives and demonstrate how nations and networks have used political, economic, and/or cultural aspects of the era for different agendas.
