Where the Lincoln Road Meets the Mississippi: A Conference on Industry, Commerce, and Community in the Iowa-Illinois Gateway Area, 1835-Present
H-Illinois' primary mission is to increase interest in and to facilitate discussion about the history and culture of peoples of the state of Illinois; the history and culture of Midwesterners; and the roles of the state and region in national and transnational experiences.
[Ed. note (PBK): I'm sure our friends at h-stained-glass would have some suggestions to make as well.]
I am trying to find out more about the stained glass studios of the John J. Kinsella Company of Chicago. I am particularly interested in locating churches where the company's windows are installed and most especially if any were installed in Ohio. I have searched the internet extensively and have located a few in Chicago and one in Boise.
CALL FOR PAPERS
A CONFLUENCE OF CULTURES: U.S.-NATIVE AMERICAN RELATIONS IN THE 19TH CENTURY
While it is true that H-Genocide needs new editors, that call for editors really does pertain to H-Illinois. In other words, both networks needs editors. Sorry for any confusion.
We’re looking for some new editors to run H-Genocide. I’ve done what I can to hold down the ship but we’d like to get the position filled with a team of people who know the field much better than I.
