The editors of German Life and Letters and John Wiley & Sons Ltd are
pleased to announce the online publication of two anthologies to mark the
twenty-fifth anniversary of the opening of the Berlin Wall.
The GLL virtual issue consists of a selection of ten relevant articles that
the journal has published since 1989, and the Wiley anthology consists of
fifty relevant articles and book chapters from their range of publications,
grouped under the five headings of 'Culture', 'Reconstruction', 'Politics',

GERMAN STUDIES ASSOCIATION: CALL FOR SEMINAR PROPOSALS
In response to the success of the last two years’ seminar programs, the 39th GSA Conference in Washington, D. C. (October 1-4, 2015), will continue to host a series of seminars in addition to its regular conference sessions and roundtables.
The GSA Emotion Studies Network will host a series of panels at the next annual meeting of the GSA, October 1-4, 2015. We call for paper or panel proposals that explore the corporeality and/or materiality of emotions in the Germanic world from 1500 to the present.
