We are preparing an edited volume of case studies in the transitions to capitalism in a variety of societies from a “political Marxist” perspective (i.e. using the historical and theoretical insights in the work of Robert Brenner and Ellen Meiksins Wood). The volume will be published by an academic press. Ten national case studies are covered so far, but we are still looking for an author that could write a chapter on the rise of capitalism in Germany.
