I am seeking panelists for the 2018 SHAFR (the Society for Historians of American Foreign Relations) meeting in Philadelphia. The theme of the panel is technology and the Cold War. My own paper deals with US transfers of peaceful nuclear technology to Yugoslavia and several other non-aligned countries in the 1970s. I am particularly interested in the intersection of strategic, economic, and cultural policies related to these transfers. Papers examining any aspect of technology transfers or energy policies in the Cold War would fit well with the panel theme.
