Emotions Through Time: from Antiquity to Byzantium
27-29 September 2017 - Nicosia (Cyprus), A.G. Leventis Gallery
Emotions through Time: from Antiquity to Byzantium (ETT) is a Leverhulme Trust-funded international and interdisciplinary research network which examines the interactions between ancient and Byzantine emotion. Our aim is to explore the transformation and assimilation of ancient affectivity in Byzantium and the creation of new emotional paradigms and vocabulary.
After a short hiatus, we are resuming our New Publications List for H-Emotions. If you have published or know of any articles or books that directly engage with the topic of Emotions Studies, please send us the references and/or links to them, especially for the month of July. Please send references to email@example.com by Saturday, August 12th.
A new issue of Emotion Researcher (the newsletter for the International Society for Research on Emotion) is now available.
As well as serving as a newsletter for members of ISRE, Emotion Researcher acts as a permanent, expanding, online resource, featuring expert, cross-disciplinary discussions concerning fundamental aspects of emotion.
Registration is now open for 'News Reporting and Emotion, 1100-2017', a colllaboratory to be held in Adelaide from 4-6 September 2017.
