H-Education seeks to link participants with shared interests in the history of education, broadly defined as a recognized field covering both formal and informal institutions and processes regarding teaching and learning. We anticipate that our audience will consist of university professors, independent scholars, educators, and graduate students, from diverse fields of study.

The Journal of Thomas Jefferson’s Life and Times announces a call for proposals for a special issue to be published in 2018 that focuses on Thomas Jefferson and women. We seek original historical research contributions from a variety of perspectives. Particular, unique stories that are intriguing are also welcome.

The Special Collections Research Center (SCRC) at Syracuse University Libraries invites applicants for its Alexander N. and Margaret Charters Adult Education Grants-in-Aid Program, now in its seventh year. Up to $5,000 of grants-in-aid will be awarded to researchers, scholars, and practitioners wishing to use the Charters Library collections. The actual amount of each award will depend upon the scope of the research outlined in the applicant’s proposal.
