Re: Talk: Washington's Civil War Forts and Parks - July 10, 2014

Many thanks for posting this. Here's the full array of programs planned for the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Fort Stevens, starting at with the pre-commemoration "kick-off" events at the National Archives on Thurs. July 10 and ending with a memorial service at Battleground National Cemetery the Sunday afternoon, July 13.  Each event is unique and will be educational as well as enjoyable. [Note: Historic Fort Stevens is located between 13th St. and Georgia Ave. at Quackenbos St.]
