Priset består av ett diplom och en prissumma på $ 250 US. Vinnaren meddelas sommaren 2019.

The Society for the History of Children and Youth (SHCY), (La Sociedad para la Historia de la Infancia y la Juventud) se complace en abrir una convocatoria del premio al mejor artículo académico publicado en español sobre la historia- ampliamente entendida — de la infancia, los niños, o la juventud, publicado en 2017 o 2018. El premio se consiste en una placa y un monto de US $250. 
El nombre del/a ganador/a será anunciado a finales de abril de 2019 y el artículo será reconocido en nuestra conferencia bianual, que se llevará a cabo en Sydney en junio de 2019.

We need you to contribute to the 2018 issue of the Girls’ History & Culture Network Newsletter. The aim of our Newsletter is to provide members with regular opportunities to share information about relevant professional activities that might lead to conversations and collaborations about the history of girls and their cultures from the past to the present.

Call for Nominations: 2018 Grace Abbott Book Prize

The Society for the History of Children and Youth (SHCY) is pleased to call for nominations for the best book in English on the history of children, childhood, or youth (broadly construed) published in the year 2018.  

The award consists of a plaque and a check for $500.  The winner will be announced during the Spring of 2019, and acknowledged at the SHCY’s biennial international conference in Sydney, Australia in late June.
