Thank you so much for sharing this lengthy notice of Geshe Sopa's passing. I think it is also important to add how much he did to inspire undergrads and pre-fieldwork graduate students in Wisconsin's summer language program to learn the Tibetan language. He was my very first Tibetan teacher - so funny, patient, and warm as he taught us to hold our first simple conversations. A beautiful person. An amazing life.
