The Holmes Welch and the Study of Buddhism in Twentieth-Century China Seminar invites proposals for papers to be presented at the 2015 meeting of the American Academy of Religion in Atlanta. We invite papers on any aspect of Welch's life or work, including his studies of Buddhism, or other fields. We are especially interested in papers that complement those presented at last year's seminar meeting, and which address present-day developments in the field of modern Chinese Buddhist studies.
