Re: SPECIAL ISSUE JEWISH HISTORY: Jews and Muslims in France

The problem with the theoretical mumbo jumbo of this roundtable, as well as with the one published in the AHR in October is that it gives the pulpit to the intersectionalist Foucault inspired scholars who ultimately present a Manichean perspective on prejudice. Antisemitism is not a theoretical experience for Jews in France and for all the talk of its theoretical kinship with Islamophobia, French Jews know where much of the hate comes from. Moreover, the ideological unity of the roundtable is disappointing.
