Vernon Press invites book chapter proposals to be included in a forthcoming edited volume, "Global Humanities: Transit, Transition, and Translation."
With roots in the intertwined movements of racial justice, anti-imperialism and liberation in the 1960s and 70s, the formation of ethnic studies in the United States changed how institutions of higher education teaches race, inequality and the very history of the nation. In celebration of the formation of Ethnic Studies at BMCC, we aim to provide a space to discuss contemporary scholarship in the field especially if the research or researcher is related to CUNY.
We invite submissions of abstracts addressing, but not limited to, the following topics:
The Association for Spanish and Portuguese Historical Studies is pleased to invite paper and panel proposals for the Annual Meeting, to be held in Boulder on May 19-21, 2023 at the UMC (University Memorial Center) of the University of Colorado Boulder. Sessions will run on Saturday and Sunday.
The Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University invites applications for a lecturer in classical Japanese (bungo) and kanbun. The lecturer will be responsible for teaching four courses of classical Japanese (bungo) and kanbun ranging from introductory to advanced levels. The annual appointment is expected to begin on July 1, 2023, and is for one year with the possibility for renewal for a maximum total of three years.

Carleton College invites applications for a full or part-year visiting position at the rank of assistant professor or instructor in our vibrant new Digital Arts & Humanities program for the 2023–2024 academic year. We seek candidates with (or within a year of completing) a Ph.D. in Digital Humanities or another relevant arts, humanities, or social science discipline; demonstrated expertise in DH methods; and a strong commitment to teaching undergraduates in a liberal arts environment.
