The Southeast Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians (SESH) offers grants for travel to its annual conference for students and emerging professionals with the Student Conference Travel Grant and Emerging Professionals Conference Travel Grant. These grants support the recipient’s presentation of a scholarly paper at the conference as well as full attendance in conference activities: paper sessions, business meeting/awards ceremony, and keynote address.

The paper sessions will be held on Thursday and Friday, September 28 and 29. Please submit paper and/or session proposals via email at papers@sesah.org by May 4, 2023.

The KOINet workshops specialize in transferring knowledge between so-called "big" and "small" subjects. They offer researchers in general cultural studies and "small subjects" such as Egyptology, Byzantine Studies and Ethnology a platform for exchange and to enable them to initiate their own interdisciplinary follow-up projects.
Circumambulating Objects: Paradigms of Restitution of Southeast Asian Art (CO-OP), a Getty Foundation-funded project led by Professor Ashley Thompson (PI) and Dr. Stephen A. Murphy (Co-I) at SOAS, University of London, invites additional participants to join our team of scholars and professionals to examine Southeast Asian epistemologies and needs at the intersection of current global debates around Restitution. Participants will actively participate in three 10-day all-expenses-paid annual seminars convened in Southeast Asia.
