The History Department at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy is seeking an instructor to teach university level surveys and seminars in our History team to talented high school students. The selected candidate will be responsible for curriculum delivery as well as ongoing development and revision of existing classes. Candidates for the position should have at least a Master’s Degree in History, the Social Sciences or a related field (PhD preferred). Specializations in any STEM-related topic preferred.

The NACBS and its affiliate, the Mid-Atlantic Conference on British Studies, seek participation by scholars in all areas of British Studies for the 2023 meeting. We will meet in Baltimore, Maryland, from November 10-12, 2023. We solicit proposals for presentations on Britain, the British Empire-Commonwealth, and the British world, including Ireland, the Americas, Asia, Africa, and the Pacific (etc.). Our interests range from the medieval to the modern.
