NEW DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS: April 21, 2023
The aim of the conference is to consider the points of intersection between broadly understood ideas of eroticism, sexuality, and history, and the ways their senses have been woven into narratives of the past as well into the ways of narrating the past.
The 13th Edition of the Conference, on 29 - 30 June 2023 , brings together teachers, researchers, practitioners and project managers from all over the world to share findings, expertise and experience about innovative teaching and learning methodologies, through online presentations.
Two days of inspiring sessions in the framework of a highly interactive onsite and online conference experience will be delivered. Enhanced digital contents will give participants greater access to learning, sharing and networking.

About: This two-day conference will explore why, how, to what ends, and with what effects people in Britain and Ireland organised and were organised for political purposes during the long nineteenth century, one that has been seen as an age of association. The conference will be hybrid. Registration will open 2 May and close on 5 July for in-person attendance and on 19 July for online attendance.
Venue: Collingwood College Penthouse Conference Suite, Durham University, UK
PROGRAMME
DAY ONE: THURSDAY 20 JULY
VIRTUAL PANEL 6 APRIL 2023, 9AM ARIZONA/12 PM EASTERN/17H TUNIS/18H FRANCE
Tunisian President Kais Saied’s 21 February remarks deploring “hordes of illegal migrants” as a threat to the country’s “Islamic and Arab” identity have unleashed new waves of violence against individuals racialized as Black and African in Tunisia. Is this moment indeed a rupture in the country’s post-independence policy of color-blindness and national unity?
