The Center for Portuguese Studies and Culture is pleased to announce that it will host an international conference on the 4th, 5th, and 6th of April 2024 on the campus of the University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth. The theme is “The Carnation Revolution: Global Perspectives”.
From pandemic disease, to climate change-related disasters, to cyberattacks, today we face an increasing array of catastrophic threats. Despite their diversity they are approached in common terms: as future events that threaten to disrupt the vital, vulnerable systems modern life depends upon.
