The Southern Historian is seeking original scholarly work by graduate students focusing on the history and culture of the American South for its 2024 issue. For manuscript submissions, we are particularly interested in articles detailing the history of the Native American South. All topics on the American South from the antebellum era to present day are, however, welcomed. The deadline for manuscript submissions for the 2024 issue is December 15, 2023. Early submissions are strongly encouraged.
