We are pleased to announce our 21st Annual German Graduate Symposium on the theme of Cognition and Corporeality: Writing Minds and Bodies.
How we think our bodies is intrinsically connected to the way in which we think through our bodies. Perceiving ourselves as well as the minds and bodies of others, however, is shaped by the way corporeality and cognition have been narrated by our cultures. Can literature mediate between these two perceptions and inspire new, diverse ways of thinking this connection between mind and corporeality?
