With the 250th anniversary fast approaching, we invite proposals for a roundtable session on INTERNATIONAL DIMENSIONS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION at the Western History Association meeting in Kansas City, MO, Oct. 24-27, 2024 (to be held jointly with the Southern Historical Association conference). Given the regional foci of the conferences, we are especially interested in work with a foot (or at least a toe) in the West or South, broadly conceived, during the Revolutionary era (c. 1763-1815).

Reproductive justice was developed as an international human-rights framework by activists and scholars in the 1990s and has become a cornerstone of intersectional feminist theory and practice within social sciences. Yet, it is only recently that researchers in arts and humanities have begun to tap the rich interdisciplinary potential this framework offers for bringing together reproductive rights, social justice, and cultural representation.
