The American National Biography (ANB), published online by Oxford University Press and overseen by general editor Miroslava Chávez-García, is looking for authors to write 1,000-word biographical essays. The ANB publishes biographies of individuals of diverse backgrounds whose work and/or influence has left a lasting impression on U. S. history.
